Update.........

Just thought we would let you know that unlike at home we have had no rain and the children have stayed dry.  As we type the children are having a shower so they should return reasonably clean but very tired when they get home.

Lunch was a great hit with 3 types of pizza, potato wedges and salad.  Its chicken for tea!!

The children will be ready for collection from the school hall tomorrow at 2.30pm.

Today the children were able to have a lie in until 7.15am due to a later breakfast.  Today was a day of fencing, the crate challenge, abseiling and first aid.  The children and staff have enjoyed working together as a team, and all of the children have attempted all of the activities and have gained achievements beyond their own expectations.

The children did reprimand the staff this morning for laughing when patrolling the corridor at bedtime.  Mrs Ball and Mrs Henshall seemed to be the worse culprits, and apologised to the children and promised to be quiet this evening.  More photographs to follow later......

Wednesday 2nd November 2011

After an evening of activities all of the children slept soundly and were promptly woken up by Mrs Ball at 7am this morning for breakfast at 7.45am.

Today has been a day of many highs!!

The zip wire and big swing to name a couple, but the children have also taken part in quad biking, climbing and archery.  Mrs Ball took to the sky today, and Mrs Henshall completed the abseiling yesterday with the support of her group.  They have all been fantastic and the staff are very proud of all of the children for the exemplary manners and behavior they have displayed.  They will shortly have a break before dinner and then on to the evening activities!!!

Quote of the day, "this is so cool" as a child flew down the zip wire and above our heads.

Tuesday 1st November 2011

The children and staff arrived safe and well.   The bus journey was fine and the children entertained us with their singing. All have settled into their rooms, taken part in climbing, abseiling, aeroball and problem solving.  They have eaten a hearty dinner with loads of choice.  The PGL staff have been most welcoming and the children are having a great time and currently enjoying some time out in their room before they start their evening activities.
